Lib Dem Peer Visits Portsmouth to Show Support for Keep Milton Green

Liberal Democrat peer Baroness Kathryn Parminter visited Portsmouth earlier this week to campaign for Gerald Vernon-Jackson in Portsmouth South. She also learned more about, and lent her support to, the Keep Milton Green campaign.
The Baroness has a particular interest in the environment and animal rights – she is also Vice President of the RSPCA. Part of the Keep Milton Green campaign is around protecting the wildlife living on the St James’ site.
Gerald Vernon-Jackson, Lib Dem Parliamentary Candidate for Portsmouth South, commented:
“I’m so glad the Baroness is lending her support for the Keep Milton Green campaign. It was really good to show her around the St James’ site and discuss the wildlife that resides there.”
Baroness Parminter added:
“We all know that Gerald works hard for the community. I’m happy to give my backing to the Keep Milton Green campaign as well as helping to get a Liberal Democrat elected in Portsmouth South this May.”
