The questions David Cameron should be answering today

Today, the Prime Minister is announcing how work will continue in Portsmouth’s ship yard. This is really positive news for the city but Gerald Vernon-Jackson is asking why Mr Cameron is not answering questions about the new naval frigates.

Gerald Vernon-Jackson, Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Candidate for Portsmouth South, commented:

“It’s good news that the shipyards will continue to provide jobs for local people but I want the Prime Minister to answer two questions. First, will he commit to bringing all of the new frigates to Portsmouth so that the entire Surface Fleet is based here? Second, will he commit to one-for-one replacement of them?”

These questions remain unanswered.
